Top 5 Wellness Apps Performance in Peru Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the top wellness apps in Peru exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Calm saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at nearly $2K in early May. Downloads showed a notable decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping from around 2.5K in early June to 758 by the end of the month. Active users also experienced a downward trend, decreasing from approximately 22.5K in early June to 14.4K by the end of the quarter.

Headspace: Sleep & Meditation had a relatively stable performance. Weekly revenue peaked at $1.2K at the end of March but generally remained below $1K for the rest of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 363 in early May. Active users maintained a steady range, hovering around 1.7K to 2.2K throughout the quarter.

Meditopia: AI, Meditation experienced a consistent decline in revenue, starting at $560 at the end of March and dropping to $228 by the end of June. Downloads also decreased, falling from 1.5K in early April to 407 by the end of June. Active users showed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 9.2K in early April to 7K by the end of June.

Mindvalley: Self Improvement exhibited the least volatility among the top apps. Revenue was generally low, peaking at $762 in mid-June. Downloads were minimal but saw a slight increase mid-quarter, reaching 44 in mid-May. Active users remained stable, averaging around 100 throughout the quarter.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound showed a gradual increase in revenue, culminating at $518 in the last week of June. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 299 to 771 throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly but averaged around 700.
